“Viva La Revolucion!,” traces the
individuals and the events of the revolution through the medium of
money. Each chapter in the 159-page, hard-cover book is written in both
English and Spanish. It features photographs and illustrations of
monetary specimens as well as brief biographies of revolutionary leaders
such as Villa, Emiliano Zapata and Victoriano Huerta, among others.
Don Bailey and Joe Flores served as consultants for the
ANA Money Museum's exhibit of Viva la Revolucion!: The Money of the
Mexican Revolution and lent part of their collections for the
displays.
This comprehensive bilingual catalog is a
record of that exhibit, richly illustrated with objects from ANA, Bailey
and Flores' collections.
This catalog is the first in the series of catalogs
available from ANA.
