The American Numismatic Association welcomes and encourages your
active participation on Money.org.
The goal is to create a space for members to share ideas,
research, opinions and other musings as they relate to the broad
topic of numismatics.
By submitting a comment, you are consenting to the
following terms of engagement:
Don't use obscene, profane or vulgar language.
Profanity is prohibited. The FCC has defined profanity as
"including language so grossly offensive to members of the public
who actually hear it as to amount to a nuisance," and that standard
will be enforced. Mentions of or links to obscene or vulgar
material will be removed. When in doubt, best to leave it out.
Don't use language that makes personal attacks on fellow
members or discriminates based on race, religion, gender, sexual
orientation or ethnicity.
A personal attack is a comment that insults another collector or
dealer personally; for instance, their intelligence, marital
status, health, upbringing, etc. In order to encourage intelligent
discussion and debate, name-calling is prohibited. You may disagree
with another person's ideas or opinions, but you may not disparage
them on a personal level.
Don't libel another member or business.
Sometimes conflicts occur when doing business. If you feel like
another member or business has wronged you in a business
transaction, the ANA can help through mediation
services. The Exchange is not the place to vent about a
specific dealer or member. Certainly, we can exchange stories and
ideas that will warn others of deceptive business practices. But if
you accuse another business or member of unethical or illegal
business practices, we will remove the comment.
Removing comments
The ANA reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to remove a
comment and also to revoke a user's privilege to post content. The
ANA staff will not review every comment posted on the site
immediately. If you see a comment that you believe violates this
user agreement, please email webmaster@money.org. Posts will not be
removed automatically, but all reported posts will be reviewed.
