ANA seeks intern for 2000

This summer, the American Numismatic Association (ANA) and Numismatic Guaranty Corporation (NGC) will sponsor an internship in coin grading and counterfeit detection.

The successful applicant will study and work at the ANA's Colorado Springs headquarters in the Museum Services Department and Authentication Bureau. During this time, he/she also will attend the ANA Summer Seminar (July 1-14) and satisfy requirements for the ANA's Numismatic Diploma.

The intern also will work at the ANA World's Fair of Money 2000 in Philadelphia, August 9-13, before heading off to NGC's corporate offices in Parsippany, New Jersey, for two weeks of study.

The internship begins June 3 and is open to ANA members age 18 or older. Included are transportation; room and board at The Colorado College (adjacent to ANA headquarters); and a weekly stipend.
