The Anderson Area Coin Club (AACC) of Anderson, SC had an open house meeting to celebrate our 10^th anniversary on October 6, 2015.  The present founding and charter members were recognized by Club President Gene Pruitt, as well as the SC Numismatic Association (SCNA) 2015 YN scholarship winner, Daniel Hammond, Jr.  Mr. Robert Moon, SCNA Treasurer, was among our honored guests.  Mr. Moon will return for our February 2016 regular meeting to do his power point presentation on American banknotes.  Also recognized was club member Mr. Mack Martin, the 2015 SCNA Numismatist of the Year.  Mr. Martin is our club’s representative on the Georgia Numismatic Association (GNA) Board, as well as a past Chairman for Exhibits/exhibitor at SCNA, GNA, and ANA conventions.  Please attend the 43^rd SCNA convention on October 30^th & 31^st, November 1^st, in Greenville, SC and the GNA convention to be held in Dalton, GA in April of 2016.  The AACC serves the member’s numismatic needs in the upstate of South Carolina and Northeast Georgia.  Please go to the AACC website at www.andersonareacoinclub.org  for pictures and information, or contact us by mail at:  AACC, P.O.
