ANA Dealer Bourse Applications for Denver and Sacramento Shows Available at www.money.org

(Colorado Springs, Colorado) The American Numismatic Association is accepting applications for table space at the Denver World’s Fair of Money®, Aug. 16-19, 2006 and the Sacramento National Money Show™, March 23-25, 2007.

Applications are available for download at www.money.org. Click on “ANA Conventions” from the “Numismatic Events” dropdown menu, and then click on “Dealer Bourse Applications.”

Table locations are selected based on the number of dealer “stars” accumulated over the course of a calendar year. Stars are earned by contributions to the ANA and the hobby such as joining the 1891 Initiative, participating in Treasure Trivia, judging exhibits or teaching at the annual Summer Seminar.

Dealers who apply for a table before Jan. 31, 2006 will have their stars tallied for table selection. Dealers who are interested in increasing their “star number” before the deadline should contact the ANA Meeting Services Department at 719-482-9857 or convention@money.org.

Held twice each year in different cities around the country, ANA shows attract thousands of people with an interest in coins, paper money, tokens and medals, history, investing and related areas. The shows are open to the public and admission is free (with valid photo identification).

ANA Conventions are family events that feature activities for everyone from those with a casual interest in numismatics to advanced collectors. Activities include the dealer bourse, an entertaining and educational collector exhibit area, numismatic auctions, hourly educational presentations, club meetings, tours, games, prize drawings and special events. A complete calendar of activities is available to attendees before each show.

The American Numismatic Association is a nonprofit educational organization dedicated to educating and encouraging people to study and collect money and related items. With nearly 33,000 members, the Association serves the academic community, collectors and the general public with an interest in numismatics. The ANA helps all people discover and explore the world of money through its vast array of programs including its education and outreach, museum, library, publications, conventions and seminars.
