Diane Piret, a rare-coin enthusiast and former dealer, was born in Staten Island on May 29, 1947. She worked professionally in numismatics for more than 50 years. Her experience spanned from small town shops to international trading of the industry’s major markets. Piret began her distinguished career working at Manfra, Tordella & Brookes. There she discovered a passion for the rare-coin and precious-metals business. Once initiated into the industry, she never looked back.

The Brandon Coin Club has been dedicated to education since it was formed in 2006. We do four successful shows a year, our next show is November 01, 2014 held at The Elks Lodge 800 Centennial Lodge Dr. just off SR 60 Brandon Fl.
(Temecula, California) - A 16-year old South Carolina high school sophomore, Raymond Hawkins, who began collecting coins six years ago and recently founded a local coin club and a coin dealership, is the winner of the Professional Numismatists Guild's (www.PNGdealers.com) 2013 Young Numismatist scholarship competition. The annual PNG scholarship provides tuition and expense money to attend one of the two week-longSummer Seminarsessions conducted by the American Numismatic Association in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
Young Numismatists have the opportunity to earn full and partial scholarships for the American Numismatic Association's highly acclaimed 2013 Summer Seminar in Colorado Springs, Colo.The two, one-week sessions are scheduled from June 22-28 and June 29-July 5. Scholarship applications from ANA members between the ages of 13-22 are due by Jan. 31.
