Numismatic Autographs
I posted something similar to this in the Facebook group some time back, but I'm genuinely curious if anyone here has a collection of numismatic autographs. Over the past few years I have written to several numismatic authors and notables.

I was talking about the signatures on the labels. They include the cost of the signature in the overall cost of the slabbed coin.Sorry if I wasn't clear.. Mike

The "Contributors To This Edition" page of the 2023 Redbook as over 90 contributors. I have seen people at shows trying to get as many autographs as possible of the people on that list. An ambitious project to say the least.

I only have a few autographed "Red Books" signed by Kenneth Bressett and Richard S Yeoman. Mr Bressett has always been gracious to me when asked.

If I had a chance to have my Red Book(s) or Blue Book(s) autographed, I probably would. But numismatics autographs aren’t something I’ve gotten into yet. I definitely see the appeal though, especially considering the amount literature and collectible items out there.

I have several. John Mercanti being the most, on nearly all of the Australian Wedge-tailed Eagles I possess (listed on my blog collection), the three U.S. Bicentennial issues signed by each reverse artist, Anthony Swiatek's signed copy of Silver and Gold Commnemoratives and Roger Burdette's Renaissance of American Coinage to list some.

I do have a few from coin shows and when I buy the numi book from the author. Nice picture of Leroy. Thanks. Unique collection.

It is great to have such collected items. Numismatists are magnificent historians too. Always a plus in your inventory.

I don't collect them but I bought a book written by Karen M Lee called The Sketchbook of George T.Morgan. She had signed the book. Its not that expensive and a great book. I do not know if there still signed. Lots of luck with your collection!! Plus I have labels signed by some. But I remember the old saying buy the coin not the label. By the way you pay for that signature!!

Every signature I've gotten has been free, (except the cost of postage). I did buy a copy of A Penny Saved at the National Money Show in Colorado Springs in March which Ken Bressett signed for me, but I was going to get a copy anyway and I had been wanting to meet him for years, so I definitely took advantage of the opportunity.
