At Moffatt and Co Extreme Custom Minting with my business partner Timothy Grat we were contracted to produce over 400 of these 2.5 Oz gold slug SS Central America commemorative bullion coins.

These bullion pieces were made from salvaged bars from the SS Central America. The historical stampings of Agustus Humbert were wire cut off the bulk of the bars before melting. In the mid picture the parted off face of the original bar is shown along with blanks and finished pieces made from that bar.
