Special Event Coming Up!

National Money Show | $tarCollector

Hey fellow YNs and ANA members,
Today I'm posting a 'emergency blog', because I almost forgot the National Money Show was coming up. I may or may not be able to go due to a few factors, but I hope I will be doing it. I posted a blog on the first of February to make you guys aware, but I was also going to do a blog just before the show. I have a few things to discuss here. My question to you is this; is anybody else going? I hope many of you come, as this NMS is quite centrally located in the US. Unless you live in AK or HI, but even then, you could fly to Denver from almost anywhere(8th busiest airport in the world in 2020, so probably a cheaper flight then to the CO Springs airport), take the drive down to CO Springs, or even fly to there from DEN(Denver airport name). So, let's talk about what will be there. I would imagine there are about 200+ tables there, so plenty of coins to buy. YNs can participate in the Treasure Trivia held there. Money Talks(lectures about coins) will be held in Ballroom E, Thursday-Friday, because on Saturday, there will be a 'Kids' Corner' for YYNs(Young Young Numismatists; also less experienced numismatists, or just any YN who wants to participate)in Ballroom E. In Ballroom A/Room 213 2 seminars(completely sold out) will happen. The Medal in America exhibit will be at ANA headquarters from 6-7:30 on Thursday(pre-registration required, but you can no longer pre-register since it is passed the 11th of Feb.). The ANA library(at ANA headquarters)will have a book sale from 4-7:30 on March 10-12. There is more information than I want to write about, but you can read the Official Show Guide of the NMS at money.org/NationalMoneyShow. Thanks for reading,

My friend told me about it and we got to go. I’m so glad I did because it’s what got me to join the ANA.

I would love to go but am choosing to wait for the WFOM since it is a lot closer to me.

Yeah, Chicago is a bit better if you live on the East Coast.

Not going to make this one. I was at one years ago at Anaheim, Ca. We had a great time. I highly recommend them. So much to see. The big auction houses allow one to hold ANY lot you wish. We held million dollar coins. Good luck and thanks.

So sad you two can't come. You guys are great numismatists. Maybe you guys will go to WFOM in Chicago this year or WFOM in Pittsburgh next year. I might be there.

I will make certain to do that. If you come back from a coin show empty-handed, why go?
