MY BEST METAL DETECTING FIND!!!
| CMCC
Today I was metal detecting and I found a 1916 Standing Liberty Quarter in XF-45+ condition! I would show a picture, but my camera battery died and won't recharge! ;)

Good joke. Wishful thinking. Either way, keep doing it.

What is a good starting metal detector that finds such coins?

April Fools! I use Garrett Detectors. I started out with the ACE-150, but I would recommend at least the ACE-250. AND GET THE GARRETT PRO-POINTER, IT IS THE BEST PINPOINTER OUT THERE!!! NO JOKE HERE!

HOW exciting, I saw a few young men metal detecting in a park the other day.. It just seems like a romantic activity. How did the coin get there? Who last touched it? How long has it been buried? I bet those are some of the questions that flow, as you do it. So cool, I hope you get your camera fixed! I'd love to see it!

April Fools! Coins can fall out in a number of ways: Jingling coins in your pocket until you jingle them out, sitting down and they roll out, falling (for me), etc. My 1914 Dime was in F-15, and 8 feet away was and XF-45 1916, so they were very likely dropped together in 1916, so the 1916 is less circulated.
