Today's is a ration note from the People's Republic of China. These are known otherwise as ration notes or coupons and apparently were given to all peoples in China.  They were used to purchase a certain amount food stuffs generally grain or rice.   This one in particular was for rice.   This note is very small. The front of it has a farmer riding a tractor and the year, and the back is the the set of Chinese characters.
