Old coins are fascinating. I have a few old ones. Really want a large cent from 1799 or around then. 1822 Bust half dollar is awesome. Would love to have a bunch of bust halfs. I dont have any. Bust halfs are old and great looking. A real piece of history. Keep up the good collecting work.

Need photos. My oldest coin is a 1804 half cent (vg condition, harsh cleaned) but I keep it because it is 216 years old.

Good start! Research that 1831 "Martin" Head large cent... I think Longbeard is correct and what you have is a "Matron" Head.

I believe you meant Matron head. Which are a great design of the Large Cent, of which my oldest is an 1847 and a chocolate brown.
