Need photos. My oldest coin is a 1804 half cent (vg condition, harsh cleaned) but I keep it because it is 216 years old.

A suggestion. Follow thrilled who are active. Those who have done nothing in 7 years are gone they will not help you. You want to learn follow your the friends and active people. This you are following will not get back to you. Go forward not back. Points mean nothinv. You get nothing for them. Look at the dates next to there blogs. They will not be your friends. E a leader Not a follower. You came here to lern. Still following these people and you will learn. This is a suggestion. Please don't become a pointer. They mean nothing. You so t get yn dollars for those one line blogs. I'm trying to help you understand . You get nothing not even a stamp from the ANA. So think it out . Want to be a collector or a pointer! You can do this.Mike

Good start! Research that 1831 "Martin" Head large cent... I think Longbeard is correct and what you have is a "Matron" Head.

Old coins are fascinating. I have a few old ones. Really want a large cent from 1799 or around then. 1822 Bust half dollar is awesome. Would love to have a bunch of bust halfs. I dont have any. Bust halfs are old and great looking. A real piece of history. Keep up the good collecting work.

I believe you meant Matron head. Which are a great design of the Large Cent, of which my oldest is an 1847 and a chocolate brown.

Pretty good. Like I said before, I recommend that you post this kind of stuff on your collections part of your account along with some pics. Or maybe put all this together into one blog
