My elongated cents mainly focus on smashed cents in the state of Colorado; however, I have various others including older Dottie Dows.

I know Ray Dillard and enjoyed seeing him at MSNS and CSNS conventions when I lived in Michigan. Having been introduced to elongated by him, I have only been paying attention to places I actually have been. If I in a museum, I always make a couple of elongateds at their machine. The challenge is to make sure that you have older cents, pre-1982. The copper-washed zinc cents are not going to survive because zinc is so highly reactive with the air.

Does NGC or PCGS slab elongated coins? If not now, someone probably will someday. Being that they both slabbed the 2014 Baseball Hall of Fame commem's (which were concave much like elongated's), it probably wouldn't be that hard.
