advice for modern roosevelt dimes

I am a young numismatist looking to finish a collection. I collect seated dimes and peace dollars but I will obviously not finish those soon. Recently, I have been working on roosevelt dimes. I have finished almost anything except for the 1990- part. How do I get the silver proofs without buying the whole set. Thank you!

If you are referring to pre-1965 proofs, Check eBay for the less expensive dates, there is a decent amount of broken proof sets, old and new, on there. For the rarer pieces, try to hunt them down at a coin show or coin shop.
If you are talking about 1965+ proofs from the silver proof sets, eBay is full of them.

Remember to wait for the right price!

I must whole-hearted agree with you on completing the Seated Dimes as I've been on them for just short of four years. As for the Roosevelt series, on a modest budget you should be able to complete it in the mid-mint state grades in no more than a few years.

Keep at it, the end result is well worth it.
