Being Overwhelmed

As a steady collector for many years, have completed several series by date/mint mark one at a time, I find myself over whelmed. Working on the extremely difficult Seated Liberty dimes those pesky key and semi-keys have forced me to other denominations to stay active and not lose interest even if temporarily. So about four months ago I started a second set of Indian Head nickels, Buffaloes to you, in Extra-fine plus. Yet for some unknown reason, despite the series being relatively easy in progression, I started the Irish Republic coinage of 1928-69. If that were not enough, a few weeks back the Canadian Large cents caught my attention. So where does it end? Or does it?

So, to contemplate on the matter which has left me feeling a bit down, I turned to the remedy which always works in these sort of situations. While at the grocery store, in the checkout line, I look to the magazine rack at the covers. With a grin, "Guess my life ain't so bad after all.".

Haha!! Yes, at one point or another, I believe we have all faced the temptation to be discouraged.  But hey, it will come with time.  I have been collecting for 7 years, and I haven't even finished a basic 50 state quarters folder!  Keep your head up, and carry on, my numismatic brother!

Discipline, it's so hard for me!  I'm currently working on a main set, while keeping an eye on two other types I'm working on in case a "deal" comes along, it gets frustrating when I find myself purchasing outside of those sets, oh well, if it's shiny, I'm weak!  Hang in there!

Exactly. I prefer to think of it more like my girl and her shoes though.
