Coin Loupe Suggestions

Mike B gave spot on advice.  A loupe that is 5x-7x is just right for grading and general authentication.  The 30x is great for checking varieties and anomalies/surfaces.  Just remember, though, that sometimes cheaper means exactly that..."cheap".

Be careful of low priced loupes as they can often fog out or get scratches easily.  Also, be careful of loupes that have too small of a viewable diameter.  You would preferably want a wide diameter of view with good, clear magnification.
