great finds

Didn't see anything on this. I think it would be neat for members to post about some of their better finds they have come across in their adventures. For me I think it would be my 1908S Indian head penny and 1922D wheat penny. I may, or may not have more valuable coins in my collection, but these two stick out, because they came out of random wheat penny rolls I got off of ebay. I don't have any pictures of them, but can post if anyone wants to see. I look forward to reading about other excellent finds

While counting change at the store I worked at I found an 1873 Seated Liberty dime.

I got two 1909 Lincoln cents out of bank rolls in a one week period. I have found a few Indian cents and Buffalo Nickels. Quite a bit of silver dimes (Roosevelt).

All of this was 20 years ago when I worked in the retail world and had access to quantities of change.

My dad found a silver quarter (Washington) in a donations pile, so I traded them. Plus the India 2002 1 Rupee that I found in a roll of quarters.

Not long ago I found a 1982-S proof Lincoln cent in the take a penny leave a penny at Big Boy. That was pretty cool.

When I pulled my stair treads off in my house I found 3-Mercury dimes, 3 1950s baseball cards and 3 photos of 3 young kids all stacked together.

I received a 1909 VDB Lincoln cent as change at a Circle K, a convience store, for a cup of coffee. About XF condition. Very nice.

One of my greatest finds would be a 1950-D Jefferson. Still remember seeing the 1950 and turning it over and seeing the little D. I almost completed a full Jefferson Nickel run from roll picking (only one I never found was the 1939-D)

Not a valuable coin (especially in circulated grades) but hard to find in that grade due to the hoarding of these back in the '60s.

My CRH find is a 1903 V Nickel. I have also found a 1911-D, 1917-D and S, and 1932 Wheat cents.
