......struck in uncirculated condition?

Was watching a few minutes of a "Rare Collectibles TV" informercial which was selling uncirculated Morgan and Peace dollars. Something scrolling on the bottom of the TV got my attention. It stated that "less than 1.7% of Morgan dollars were struck in uncirculated condition." Funny, I always thought all coins were struck as uncirculated, at least until they entered circulation. Guess you learn something new every day....

sorry to burst your bubble, but stuff like that isn't always the truth. sure, some Morgans had a weak strike, but not 98.3% of them. id feel like the TV channel is just trying to lure you in, making their cleaned AU Morgans seem rare, and this is a one time deal that you wont see anywhere else. even though you could find them for half the price somewhere else.

Well Worn Copper nailed it.  Every Morgan, indeed every coin, ever minted would have been uncirculated when it dropped from the press.  It is obviously a highly deceptive (lie) marketing blurb meant to fool the non and neophyte collectors that watch and purchase from those horrible TV hucksters.
