I apologize if this is something I overlooked, but I've searched everywhere to sign up for correspondent courses. Is it just me or are the correspondent courses provided elsewhere?

I have a few things to add (or agree with):
• One of the first things a new member should get are instructions on how to change their avatar. Having a picture to represent you really helps define the type of collector you are.
• On the same theme, an earlier post suggested there needs to be a way to post photos or scans in these forums. I completely agree and it looks like something like this has been added -- I'll test it below. Thanks for keeping the process simple!
• I also agree that breaking things down into many sub-forums can be counterproductive, by putting collectors into silos where they aren't exposed to other fields of interest. We can use thread titles to express topics.
Otherwise I like the website, although I just joined so I wasn't around to see how things have improved from the previous site. :-) Oh - and yes to some form of emoticons. A smiley face goes a long way to show the tone of a post.

I think the forums should have the latest replies first not last. Also could the new user information explain the tags: how they are used and how to get rid of them. I cannot seem to tag images or contain my tags to where they belong.

I love the site! The only suggestion I have is to maybe offer some official distant learning numismatic courses/certifications for those who can't attend the in resident seminars held in Colorado. Something similar to what the GIA (Gemology Institute of America) offers to aspiring Gemologists. Maybe the ANA could develop a similar distant learning coin grading or other certifications for aspiring coin dealers, collectors, or graders?

I have found that when I start a blog post, my work up and disappears. I would suggest that the ANA add a save button so that you can save your work but not publish it.

I must say when you have a bug or complaint the ANA staff seems to jump right on it. fixes might not readily jump out but in my case they are worked on. Keep up the good work.

Two suggestions. I think there are two missing forum subjects. Coin photography should be a separate posting area. Likewise collecting materials should be a separate posting area. the latter would cover discussions on flips, encapsulation etc.

I think that there should be a bar showing your progress on badges. For instance, if you need to create five forums, and you have made 3, there should be a bar 3/5 filled in, and '60%' or '2 to go' inside or under the bar.
