Is it wishful thinking, or is this a 1794 starred reverse large cent?I recently got it at a coin show near me. I am not an expert on large cents by any means, so what do you think?

Hard to say. The weight is wrong I think its 13.48. That's what it should be. I would check my scale. It might be off. That's all I can make out. . But weight tells a big story. The best of luck to you. Check a few coins like a cent a quarter and there weight in the red book. I hope your sake is off and its legit!

I tested the scale, and I believe it is somewhat accurate. The coin may be lighter because it has a few chunks taken out of it, but, then again, it may also mean it's fake...
