I am looking for a resource to tell me the value of this coin. It is in fair condition. I have read in several articles that mint flaws can make this coin very valuable. How do I get it evaluated?

Unless you wish to do your own research, I would bring it to the closest ANA dealer (once the coronavirus shutdowns and restrictions are over that is)

A picture would be very helpful, you can look online for known 1966 Kennedy mint errors. You can also bring it to the attention of members of your local coin club or local coin/bullion dealer.
