Hey guys. I got this coin out of the YN grab bag, and all I know is that it is an ancient Roman. Does anyone know any more about it?
Thanks.

It's hard to tell from the pics. The writing on the obverse and reverse is in Latin, and it would tell us a lot about the coin. If you could do your best to read it, write it down, and post it here, I could look it up for you. I'm not a Roman specialist, but I have a book at home on the subject that has helped me identify a few of them.

Looks like you have a small, bronze Ancient Roman As (size about AE3 or AE4) from around the middle of the 4th century A.D. It is most likely Constantius II on the obverse, with Victoria (or Felicitas?) on the reverse. These are relatively common as far as Ancient Roman copper coins are concerned. Check out a copy of the ERIC (Encyclopaedia of Roman Imperial Coins) if you can; ERIC II may be better. There's some great information available on the Wildwinds website too. Cut and paste this link into your browser for more info: http://www.wildwinds.com/coins/ric/constantius_II/t.html
