That is a 100 pesos V. Carranza coin.
These coins are usually made of aluminum bronze alloy and weigh 11.8 grams and measure 26.63 millimeters in diameter. These coins were issued from 1984 until 1992. As of 2014, they are no longer legal tender. The Mexican peso was devalued in 1993.
The 100 Mexican pesos coin features Venustiano Carranza on one side of the coin. On the other side of the coin is the national symbol of an eagle on a cactus eating a snake. Venustiano Carranza was one of the leaders of the Mexican Revolution of 1910. He became President in 1917 and was assassinated two years after that while he was trying to flee with stolen national funds.
These coins sell anywhere from $0.25-$2.00 in circulated condition.
I own a couple of these coins myself. Cool coin:)

I would buy a book of world coins for about 40 dollars. I use them a lot to identify miscellaneous coins. Its worth the 40 bucks.
