YN Corner

@user_7057
Thanks for welcoming me, Aidan! I really love that there are parts of the forum just for us YN. I had no idea there were so many of us :)

It's a good section of the forums for the YN's here, wish CT has a forum for YN's too. ;)

Just picked up this coin today. Anyone care to guess the grade?

Hmm, with that nick on the cheek: MS64. (imo)

The primary area looks rather good, I would call it an ms65 perhaps an ms65+. However the coin is very common, I will grade it ms66 for how the pictures are presented.

Being an 1881-S, I'm going to guess MS-65PL? Nice clean cheek and very frosty. The toning is pretty neat too! (Isn't that the date/mm combination with the best mirrors?)

Heh, 68 posts as of now on this thread. :)

Because Mr. Ellis - an ANA governor - likes the number 69 I will take this spot, also he isn't not a YN, but its all fun...

Here's the grade!

Okay, so perhaps it could grade an ms66 on a nice day... either way a nice coin!
