Share your knowledge and numismatic treasures with a collector’s exhibit at the Spring National Money
Show
American
Numismatic Association members are invited to showcase their
collectibles, research and creativity at the Spring National Money Show
in Denver by creating a Collector Exhibit.
The show will be held May 10-12 at the Colorado Convention Center. The application deadline for collector exhibits is April 13.
The
Collector Exhibits, a highlight of every ANA show, bring together
talented numismatic exhibitors and stunning collections from across the
nation. All areas of numismatics are represented, including U. S. coins
and paper money, ancient coins, tokens, medals and exonumia.
Exhibitors
have the option to enter their displays in competitive (judged),
non-competitive, or marquee (invitational) categories. Competitive
exhibits are judged on a variety of standards, including educational
value, presentation and degree of difficulty.
One
award unique to the Spring National Money Show is the National Coin
Week competition. The exhibit that best captures and publicizes the
National Coin Week theme and proves suitable for installation in a
public space will win a full scholarship to the ANA’s Summer Seminar.
The scholarship includes the price of tuition, airfare, lodging and
meals. This year’s theme for National Coin Week is “Change in Money:
Cowries to Credit Cards.”
For a complete list of rules, a schedule of events for exhibitors, and an application form, please go to www.NationalMoneyShow.com and select “Collector
Exhibits” from the right-hand menu.
