In Dalton, GA from April 17-19, 2015 rare U.S. coins
and paper money will be on display at the Georgia Numismatic Association (GNA) 51st
Convention coin show held at the Northwest Georgia Trade & Convention
Center. The American Numismatic
Association (ANA) will have its ANA Road
Show at this coin show. A special
display area with rare Georgia coins and paper money from the Money Museum and
ANA staff will be at the convention center.
The United States Mint will also be at the show with exhibits and sales
of mint products.

Free appraisals of coins, paper money, medals etc. will be given
during the Road Show.
The GNA 51st Convention will also have over 325
tables with over 500 coin dealers selling and buying rare coins, paper money,
medals, tokens, gold and silver coins, and many other related items. There will also be many coin displays in the
exhibit area prepared by GNA members.
The
GNA coin show is one of the ten largest non-profit coin shows in the
country. There will be a number of coin
grading services at the coin show available to evaluate coins. Location and hours:

(Note: Early Bird on Thurs begins at 3 pm for $50 badge)

On Saturday, April 18 at 9:30 am there will be a free Boy
Scouts merit badge program. All Boy
Scouts are invited to come.
On Saturday, April 18 at 1:00 pm, there will be a free special
young people’s program including a short presentation on coin collecting. Every person
18 years and younger will receive free some items like coins, medals, tokens,
paper money, coin books, coin folders, or other related items donated by GNA
members and coin dealers.
The GNA 51st Convention coin show is open to the
public and there is no admission fee, but due to security requirement all
people must register for a name badge and people 18 years and older must show a
government issued photo identification.
Security will be provided by both local police and private security
service 24 hours a day during the convention.
The
nonprofit American Numismatic Association (ANA) is the nation’s largest coin
collecting organization. Founded in 1891
and charted by the U.S. Congress, the ANA provides education, public service
and fellowship to members and non-members.
The GNA is a member club of the ANA.
