Money.Org Website Terms and Conditions of Use
The following Terms and Conditions of Use govern all use of Money.org and all content, services and products available at or through the website. The website is owned and operated by the American Numismatic Association. The website is offered subject to your acceptance, without modification, of all of the terms and conditions contained herein and all other operating rules, policies (including, without limitation, the American Numismatic Association’s Privacy Policy) and procedures that may be published from time to time on this Site by the American Numismatic Association.
By agreeing to these terms, you agree to be bound by these website Terms and Conditions of Use and all applicable laws and regulations. You also agree that you are responsible for compliance with any applicable local laws the American Numismatic Association (ANA) Bylaws and the ANA’s Code of Ethics. If you disagree with these terms and conditions, in all or in any part, you will not be able to create a profile on Money.org.
Usage License
Unless otherwise stated, the ANA and/or its licensors own the intellectual property rights in the website and material on the website. Subject to the license below, all these intellectual property rights are reserved.
You may view, download for caching purposes only, and print pages or other content from the website for your own personal use, subject to the restrictions set out below and elsewhere in these terms and conditions.
This is the grant of a license, not a transfer of title, and under this license you shall not:
- Republish, modify, or copy the materials without proper attribution and written permission from the ANA;
- Use the materials for any commercial purpose;
- Attempt to decompile or reverse engineer any software contained on ANA’s website;
- Remove any copyright or other proprietary notations from the materials; or
- Transfer the materials to another person or mirror the materials on any other server.
This license shall automatically terminate if you violate any of these restrictions and may be terminated by ANA at any time. Upon terminating your viewing of these materials or upon the termination of this license, you shall destroy any downloaded materials in your possession whether in electronic or printed format.
This Agreement does not transfer from the ANA to you any right, title and interest in ANA or third party intellectual property, and all right, title and interest in and to such property will remain (as between the parties) solely with the ANA. The ANA’s logo, and all other trademarks, service marks, graphics and logos used in connection with Money.org, Worldsfairofmoney.com or Nationalmoneyshow.com are trademarks, registered trademarks, service marks or registered service marks of the ANA or the ANA’s licensors. Other trademarks, service marks, graphics and logos used in connection with the website may be the property of other third parties. Your use of the website grants you no right or license to reproduce or otherwise use any ANA or third-party trademarks or service marks.
Acceptable use
You will not use this website in any way that causes, or may cause, damage to the website or impairment of the availability or accessibility of the website; or in any way which is unlawful, illegal, fraudulent or harmful, or in connection with any unlawful, illegal, fraudulent or harmful purpose or activity.
If you create an account on the website, you are responsible for maintaining the security of your account, and you are fully responsible for all activities that occur under the account and any other actions taken in connection with it. You must not describe or assign keywords to your account or posts in a misleading or unlawful manner, including in a manner intended to trade on the name or reputation of others, and the American Numismatic Association may change or remove any description or keyword that it considers inappropriate or unlawful, or otherwise likely to cause the ANA liability. You must immediately notify the ANA of any unauthorized uses of your account or any other breaches of security. The ANA will not be liable for any acts or omissions by you, including any damages of any kind incurred as a result of such acts or omissions.
You will not use this website to copy, store, host, transmit, send, use, publish or distribute any material which consists of (or is linked to) any spyware, computer virus, Trojan horse, worm, keystroke logger, rootkit or other malicious computer software.
The ANA has not reviewed, and cannot review, all of the material, including computer software, posted to the website, and cannot therefore be responsible for that material’s content, use or effects. By operating the website, the ANA does not represent or imply that it endorses the material there posted, or that it believes such material to be accurate, useful or non-harmful. You are responsible for taking precautions as necessary to protect yourself and your computer systems from viruses, worms, Trojan horses, and other harmful or destructive content. The website may contain content that is offensive, indecent, or otherwise objectionable, as well as content containing technical inaccuracies, typographical mistakes, and other errors. The website may also contain material that violates the privacy or publicity rights, or infringes the intellectual property and other proprietary rights, of third parties, or the downloading, copying or use of which is subject to additional terms and conditions, stated or unstated. The ANA disclaims any responsibility for any harm resulting from the use by visitors of the website, or from any downloading by those visitors of content there posted.
You will not conduct any systematic or automated data collection activities including without limitation scraping, data mining, data extraction and data harvesting on or in relation to this website without ANA’s express written consent.
You will not use this website to transmit or send unsolicited commercial communications.
You will not use this website for any purposes related to marketing without the ANA’s express written consent.
You will not use this website, its blogs, forums or comment sections for commercial purposes or to buy, sell or trade items.
You will not use defamatory or discriminatory comments, vulgarities, obscenities or profanities in any content written by you including your account, blog posts, comments or forums.
Access to certain areas of this website is restricted. The ANA reserves the right to restrict access to areas of this website, or this entire website, at the ANA’s discretion.
If the ANA provides you with a user identification and password to enable you to access restricted areas of this website or other content or services, you shall ensure that the user identifier and password are kept confidential.
The ANA may disable your user identification and password at its sole discretion without notice or explanation.
The ANA may terminate your access to all or any part of the website at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice, effective immediately. If you wish to terminate this Agreement or your Money.org account (if you have one), you may simply discontinue using the website. All provisions of this Agreement which by their nature should survive termination shall survive termination, including, without limitation, ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity and limitations of liability.
In these terms and conditions, “your user content” means material
including without limitation text, images, audio material, video material, and audio-visual material that you submit to this website, for whatever purpose. You grant to ANA a worldwide, irrevocable, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, adapt, publish, translate and distribute your user content in any existing or future media. You also grant the ANA the right to sub-license these rights, and the right to bring an action for infringement of these rights.
Your user content will not be illegal or unlawful, shall not infringe any third party’s legal rights, and shall not be capable of giving rise to legal action whether against you, the ANA, or a third party under any applicable law.
As the ANA asks others to respect its intellectual property rights, it respects the intellectual property rights of others. If you believe that material located on or linked to by Money.org violates your copyright, you are encouraged to notify the ANA. The ANA will respond to all such notices, including, as required or appropriate, by removing the infringing material or disabling all links to the infringing material. The ANA will terminate a visitor’s access to and use of the website if, under appropriate circumstances, the visitor is determined by the ANA, at its sole discretion, to be a repeat infringer of the copyrights or other intellectual property rights of the ANA or others. In the case of such termination, the ANA will have no obligation to provide a refund of any amounts previously paid to the ANA.
You will not submit any user content to the website that is or has ever been the subject of any threatened or actual legal proceedings or other similar complaint.
The ANA reserves the right to edit or remove any material submitted to this website, or stored on its servers, or hosted or published upon this website.
The ANA reserves the right to display advertisements on your account and blog pages.
You represent and warrant that (i) your use of the website will be in strict accordance with the ANA’s Bylaws, Code of Ethics, Privacy Policy, with this Agreement and with all applicable laws and regulations (including without limitation any local laws or regulations in your country, state, city, or other governmental area, regarding online conduct and acceptable content, and including all applicable laws regarding the transmission of technical data exported from the United States or the country in which you reside) and (ii) your use of the website will not infringe or misappropriate the intellectual property rights of any third party.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the ANA, its contractors, and its licensors, and their respective directors, officers, employees and agents from and against any and all claims and expenses, including attorneys’ fees, arising out of your use of the website, including but not limited to your violation of this Agreement.
This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between the ANA and you concerning the subject matter hereof, and they may only be modified by a written amendment signed by an authorized executive of the ANA, or by the posting by the ANA of a revised version.
Disclaimer
The materials on the ANA’s website are provided “as is.” The materials appearing on ANA’s website could include technical, typographical, or photographic errors. The ANA makes no warranties, expressed or implied, and hereby disclaims and negates all other warranties, including without limitation, implied warranties or conditions of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement of intellectual property or other violation of rights. Further, ANA does not warrant or make any representations concerning the accuracy, completeness, currency, likely results, or reliability of the use of the materials on its Internet website or otherwise relating to such materials or on any sites linked to this site. Neither the ANA nor its suppliers and licensors, makes any warranty that the website will be error free or that access thereto will be continuous or uninterrupted. You understand that you download from, or otherwise obtain content or services through, the website at your own discretion and risk.
Limitations
In no event shall the ANA, its suppliers and licensors, and advertisers be liable for any damages including, without limitation, damages for loss of data or profit, or due to business interruption, arising out of the use of or inability to use the materials on ANA’s website, even if ANA or an ANA authorized representative has been notified orally or in writing of the possibility of such damage.

The ANA has not reviewed, and cannot review, all of the material, including computer software, made available through the websites and webpages to which Money.org links, and that link to Money.org. The ANA does not have any control over those non-ANA websites and webpages, and is not responsible for their contents or their use. By linking to a non-ANA website or webpage, the ANA does not represent or imply that it endorses such website or webpage. You are responsible for taking precautions as necessary to protect yourself and your computer systems from viruses, worms, Trojan horses, and other harmful or destructive content. The ANA disclaims any responsibility for any harm resulting from your use of non-ANA websites and webpages.
If you operate an account, comment on a blog, post material to the website, post links on the website, or otherwise make (or allow any third party to make) material available by means of the website (any such material, “Content”), you are entirely responsible for the content of, and any harm resulting from, that Content. That is the case regardless of whether the Content in question constitutes text, graphics, an audio file, or computer software. By making Content available, you represent and warrant that:
- the downloading, copying and use of the Content will not infringe the proprietary rights, including but not limited to the copyright, patent, trademark or trade secret rights, of any third party;

is not the name of a person other than yourself or company other than your own; and - you have, in the case of Content that includes computer code, accurately categorized and/or described the type, nature, uses and effects of the materials, whether requested to do so by the ANA or otherwise.
By submitting Content to the ANA for inclusion on Money.org, you grant the ANA a world-wide, royalty-free, and non-exclusive license to reproduce, modify, adapt and publish the Content solely for the purpose of displaying, distributing and promoting Money.org, Worldsfairofmoney.com, Nationalmoneyshow.com and the ANA. If you delete Content, the ANA will use reasonable efforts to remove it from the Websites, but you acknowledge that caching or references to the Content may not be made immediately unavailable.
Removal of Content and Termination of Access
In the ANA’s sole discretion, the ANA has the right (though not the obligation) to: (i) refuse or remove any content that, in the ANA’s reasonable opinion, violates any ANA Bylaws or Code of Ethics or is in any way harmful or objectionable, or (ii) terminate or deny access to and use of the website to any individual or entity for any reason.
Site Terms of Use Modifications
The ANA reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to modify or replace any part of this Agreement. It is your responsibility to check this Agreement periodically for changes. Your continued use of or access to the website following the posting of any changes to this Agreement constitutes acceptance of those changes. The ANA may also, in the future, offer new services and/or features through the website (including, the release of new tools and resources). Such new features and/or services shall be subject to the terms and conditions of this Agreement.
Governing Law and Venue
Any claim relating to this Agreement or the access or use of the ANA’s website shall be governed by the laws of the State of Colorado and the United States without regard to its conflict of law provisions. The proper venue for any claim relating to this Agreement or the access or use of the ANA’s website shall be the state and federal courts located in Colorado.
