ANA begins search for Controller/Finance Director
The American Numismatic Association (ANA) is looking for a controller/finance director to handle accounting and budgetary duties for the world’s largest, nonprofit, educational organization chartered by Congress for collectors of coins, paper money, tokens and medals.
“With the recent retirement of Ruthann Brettell as our chief financial officer, the ANA is anxious to fill this vital role on our staff,” says Executive Director Christopher Cipoletti. “We are seeking someone who is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or has equivalent qualifications, and who has non-profit experience.”
The successful applicant must have skills and experience in general ledger, financial statements, fund accounting and budget analysis, and will report to the executive director.With net assets totaling more than $15 million, the ANA’s revenues for the last fiscal year, which ended March 31, 2002, were more than $5.3 million, with expenses of just over $4.7 million.
