ANA Seeking Numismatic Theatre Presentations for Milwaukee World’s Fair of Money®, August 8-12

All members of the American Numismatic Association are invited to share their expertise and imagination with fellow hobbyists by delivering a Numismatic Theatre presentation at the Milwaukee World’s Fair of Money®, Aug. 8-12.

Numismatic Theatre consists of hour-long presentations on a wide variety of topics, and is the perfect opportunity for collectors to communicate their ideas and research with the numismatic community. The talks are an educational highlight of every ANA convention, and often focus on topics pertaining to a convention’s host city. Presentations from previous ANA conventions include “Coins and Commerce Along the Silk Road,” “True Tales of the Granite Lady,” and “Silver, Gold & the Wizard of Oz.”

Anyone interested in giving a Numismatic Theatre presentation can submit a proposal form online at www.money.org (select “World’s Fair of Money” from the “Featured Links” tab, and then select “Numismatic Theatre”). Proposals must be received by July 6. Theatre program videos and DVDs from past conventions are available for members to check out from the ANA Library (library@money.org).
