ANA Summer Internships Application Deadline Nears

The deadline for applications for 10-week summer internships at the American Numismatic Association in Colorado Springs is Feb. 16. Three summer internships are available to experienced young collectors, college or graduate students and numismatic professionals. Applications are reviewed by a selection committee, which will announce its decision in March.

Interns will work with the ANA museum, library, education and publication staffs. One intern will conduct numismatic research using the extensive holdings in the ANA museum and library, and the rich resources in the Harry W. Bass Jr. numismatic collection.

Interns receive room and board at Colorado College, adjacent to ANA headquarters, and a weekly stipend of $200. In addition, interns can register for a one-week session of Summer Seminar, and will travel with the ANA staff in August to the World’s Fair of Money® in Milwaukee.

Information and applications are available at www.money.org (click on “Internships” from the “Explore the World of Money” drop-down menu) or by calling the ANA Education Department at 719-482-9872.
