ANA’s School of Numismatics Featured at New Hampshire Coin and Currency Expo

The American Numismatic Association’s School of Numismatics is coming to the New Hampshire Coin and Currency Expo, Oct. 5-7 at the Wayfarer Inn and Convention Center in Bedford, N.H. The ANA will offer the two-day course, Introduction to Counterfeit Detection of United States Coins.

“This is a wonderful opportunity for New England numismatists and collectors to take a course that will greatly enhance their skills and abilities,” ANA Acting Executive Director Ken Hallenbeck said. “The ANA is always looking for opportunities to make courses and seminars available to members across the country.”

Instructor Lane J. Brunner, Ph.D, leads this intensive, hands-on seminar. It will focus on items most often seen on the market today and will feature genuine and counterfeit specimens available for examination. There will also be ample opportunity for group discussion and one-on-one instruction. The class will be held from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Oct. 4-5.

Tuition for Introduction to Counterfeit Detection of United States Coins is $445, with a $100 discount for members of the ANA and the New England Numismatic Association. To register, call 719-482-9857 or register online at www.money.org (select “School of Numismatics” from the “Numismatic Events” dropdown menu).
