The ANA has achieved a great deal in the last few years, and I believe my 35 plus years of numismatic experience has been a significant help. It has been my pleasure to serve during the last 6 years with the board that is in place and I am eager to work with those who join the board after the next election. I am also very proud of the wonderful staff at ANA headquarters. I hope to build on the work of the staff and this board to fulfill the strategic goals and mission of the organization.

Statement by Christopher Marchase, candidate for governor, 2015 Board of Governors

News | ANA Official Post | Jake Sherlock

I believe the future of the ANA is the millennials and the young numismatists who want to discover the hobby. The future of the ANA depends on speaking to them in the mediums they use. This means engaging on social media, creating an accessible online library and engaging them in online discussions with experts and peers that guide them to the excellent training and resources available through membership. I want to see the ANA expand their online presence and make digitally accessible its vast collections and library.

I see two significant opportunities critical to the future of the ANA. First, I believe we can advance the public awareness of the ANA by means of an enhanced marketing and public relations strategy.
