WASHINGTON, DC – The United States Mint (Mint) and the Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) will share a booth, #1910, at the American Numismatic Association’s (ANA) World’s Fair of Money August 11 – 15, 2015, at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, Illinois.   

 

As the Nation’s producers of currency and coins, BEP and the Mint have made history by connecting Americans through coins and currency.  The bureaus are highlighting their distinguished histories, product excellence, and dedicated employees.

The BEP is showcasing its Billion Dollar Exhibit, which features more than $1 billion worth of rare antique currency, including sheets of $100,000 currency notes, Treasury Bonds, and Gold and Silver Certificates.

The Mint has planned several outreach activities for the show.  On opening day of the Fair, Principal Director Rhett Jeppson will host a meet and greet and sign autographs from 11 a.m.- 12 p.m. and from 3 – 4 p.m.  Wednesday, August 12, Acting Associate Director of Sales and Marketing Jon Cameron will meet with bulk dealers in room #44 from 11 a.m. – 12 p.m. 

The Mint will offer these and other products for sale: 

• Products from the 2015 U.S. Marshals Service 225th Anniversary Commemorative Coin Program, including $5 gold, silver dollars, and half-dollar clad coins in proof and uncirculated qualities, and the three-coin proof set.

• Products from the 2015 March of Dimes Silver Dollar Commemorative Coin Program, including silver dollar in proof and uncirculated qualities.

• Popular annual coins including:  American Buffalo Gold Proof Coin and American Eagle Gold and Silver Coins; the Happy Birthday, Congratulations, and Birth Sets; 2015 America the Beautiful Quarters® Program coin sets, rolls, and bags; and other popular annual sets.  A display featuring some of its upcoming new products will also be on hand. 

With the purchase of $75 or more, the Mint will offer a complimentary reusable bag with images of former President and First Lady Jackie Kennedy.  There is a one bag limit per customer per $75 order.
