Chris Cipoletti to Discuss ANA Mission at Coin Shows and Club Meetings throughout the U.S.

COLORADO SPRINGS – ANA Executive Director Chris Cipoletti will discuss the Association’s mission, goals and objectives at coin shows and conventions throughout the country beginning with a presentation at the Florida United Numismatist (FUN) show in Orlando, Florida at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 6.

“We’re putting together a plan to communicate on a grassroots level with our membership,” Cipoletti said. “We want our members to hear about the ANA’s vision, and to understand the important role education plays in the future of the hobby and the association.”

During his presentations, Cipoletti will outline major ANA goals and objectives, discuss outreach and educational programs, and provide a status report on a variety of activities ranging from setting hobby standards to expanding the ANA’s educational programs.

Each presentation will include a 20-30 minute address by Cipoletti followed by a question-and-answer session. Members of the ANA Board of governors also will be available to answer questions.

Cipoletti said one of the ANA’s great strengths, compared with other hobby organizations, is its accessibility. Members, he said, should both contribute to and understand their association’s mission and long-term objectives.

“The ANA belongs to its members. These open sessions will provide a forum for members to learn more about how their association is being operated, and it’ll be a great opportunity for me to listen to the concerns and wishes of our rank-and-file membership,” Cipoletti said.

A complete schedule will be released early in 2006, and will include presentations at the “Money Show of the Southwest” in Houston, Summer Seminar in Colorado Springs, the ANA Spring Money Show in Atlanta, and World’s Fair of Money in Denver.
