3 p.m., Andy Martello:
Willie Martello, the King of Casinos, the El Rey Club
Andy Martello is a professional comedian, variety performer and freelance writer. Originally from the Chicago area, he now calls Las Vegas, Nev., home where he appears as the announcer for "The Price is Right LIVE," the nationally touring version of the world's most popular TV game show.
He brought the subject of his new book (the El Rey Club) to national prominence on the hit History Channel program, "American Restoration." A writer since birth, Andy's humor and opinion columns have appeared in the North Las Vegas Voice newspaper, TheCheers.org, and AbsoluteWrite.com. "The King of Casinos: Willie Martello and the El Rey Club" is his first (and probably his last) book.
The pioneer of the "sneaky history" book genre, Andy's seminars and lectures (much like his book) are not like typical boring history classes. All stories and facts are filled with great humor and presented by an expert entertainer with 30 years of experience in front of audiences. This seminar will feature rare artifacts, exclusive photos not seen within the pages of his book, and a lot of fun. Do not miss this speaker!
This year's convention is scheduled for June 18-21. The showroom floor is open to the public starting on Thursday, June 19, and admission is $15. Admission is free on Friday and Saturday.
