Another NEWP and She's a Dandy!

I'm off to a good start on my early coppers with the MS-63 Braided Hair Half-Cent in my previous post and now this coin, an 1838 Modified Matron Head Large-Cent. This coin has everything, sharp details, a splash of toning on Liberty's check, and nice chocolate-brown toning! Understandably, this coin and the aforementioned half-cent are low hanging fruit. The Classic Head Large Cent and the Draped Bust Large Cent will be much more difficult since I will have to find nice coins that are considerably worn. For now, I'm going to enjoy this coin a while before I go on the hunt for those two!
