Day 3 of World's Fair of Money Vacation (Mint Closed)
As everyone who has been reading my blogs knows I had a very well laid out plan for my Denver trip and the World's Fair of Money. Unfortunately on Wednesday I arrived very early in the morning to guarantee my spot in line for the mint tour to find that it was closed until the following Monday because the guards that help with the tour where all at the show. So I will have to plan a trip back to Denver someday to take that tour. That is kinda good as it gives me a reason to drive back and see all of the wonderful mountain views.

i went on the tour on monday and it was very interesting and fun. although most of the stuff the guide said are comman knowledge in coin collecting but you will still enjoy it greatly

My wife thinks I "over plan" but what happened to you is why I call for up-to-date schedule information when I travel. But going back is good too.

Too bad you missed the Mint. There is so much to see in the area. Did you see the capitol bldg.? You can climb stairs to the top. The view is beautiful!
