**Wish List Coins**

Exonumia | Kepi

Hi everyone!      I'm sure we all have those certain coins that we long for.  They are on our "Wish List"... they're not totally out of reach, we just haven't quite bit the bullet yet and pushed that "Buy now" button.  Two of those coins for me is a $20 Double Eagle Saint-Gaudens and the $50 Gold American Buffalo Bullion Coin.   So in the meantime until I find those perfect coins that "talk" to me I have added these silver bullion examples to my collection.  One of these days I'll blog about a newly acquired  "Wish List" Gold Coin, but for now I hope you enjoy these silver beauties as I have.  Whats your "special" coin that you hope to add to your collection in the future?   Thanks for reading my blog.   All comments are welcomed.  ; )

**Collecting Buffalos again!**

Coins-United States | Kepi

I wanted to share this beautiful example of a Buffalo Nickel or as some people call them Indian Head Nickel.  My husband surprised me with this today for no particular reason at all other than he thought it would boost back my interest into my Buffalo Nickel collection.  I must admit that I have neglected them as I've been pursuing my other favorite coin, the Mercury Dime.  When I saw my new Buffalo, I was so excited and remembered all over again why I loved this design so much!    This one is a 1937-D.  Graded by PCGS as a  MS65...full of original luster and details. The reverse shows a beautiful strike of a buffalo with  golden toning.  There is a mintage of 17,826,000.  The metal composition is .750 copper and .250 nickel.  The diameter is 21.2 mm and the coin has a plain edge.  I hope this has inspired you to think about a coin you've collected in the past that maybe you should take a second look at.   Thanks for reading my blog. Comments are always welcome.

My very own " Hobo "..... Nickel that is!

Odd & Curious Money | Kepi

I'm so happy to be able to share this special coin with everyone!  My husband attended 2015 Summer Seminar session two and not only had a great time and learned alot but also met a very talented and wonderful person...Tiny   : )    I'm sure some of you who went to Summer Seminar are familiar with Tiny, quite the character and really helpful when it comes to the ANA.  Tiny is also an artist to say the least and to make a long story a bit shorter...My husband, John, commissioned Tiny to carve a Hobo Nickel special for me!  His artwork is amazing!   Having only seen pictures of Hobo Nickels, I was truly honored and so excited to have one of my very own for my collection.   Thank you John and Tiny!   : )
