I always thought toning was bad and took away from the coin when I first started collecting. I have a 1973 Canadian dollar that has toned really nicely. Today toning is good sometimes.

Interesting. I have a 2006 silver proof set, and just a few days ago I realized the lincoln cent is starting to get a rainbow tone

I heard a dealer had a silver medal, put it in a drawer, forgot abt it. When he finally found it, the medal had toned a beautiful blue.

I really enjoy reading your old blog's outstanding. That Canadian coin or wherever it was from you said the Queen was on the reverse. She is and always will be the obverse. I think a frog was on it. I thought the same thing Mike.
