WHAT IS A BLOG?

Coins-World | Mike

I can tell you when I joined this wonderful organization I started reading these thing's called blog's. I enjoyed them alot. I learned different thing's on alot   of these blog's. I said this is terrific. Well I started to go back and read some of the old one's. I still do that. I was taught a blog was to share one's experience in collecting coin's. Sharing information on coin's. Where they came from. Giving a history of these coin's. Sharing picture's on one's favorite coin's. This and more I learned was a blog. I also laughed at some of the funny stories collector's told. That's part of the hobby. We are allowed to have a good time. We also developed friendships.
That's not the definition these day's. Yes most of us have kept to what a blog is and I thank you for that. That's where I learn and leave comments. Not one word comment's. But what I thought of it. Leave a sentence or two. Show your thanks to the persons who wrote it. Or maybe add to it! I have read so called blog's today. I say so called because they have nothing to do with why were here. A quick 35 point's. I don't comment on these, because there is nothing to comment on. Yes some have learned how to get away with writing blog's but still getting point's. This is not to offend anyone! please understand that. It's to get you back into the fold. A jump start to get back to why your here. To help us so we can help you. That's the system. I have said it before this organization is here to teach us how to be better collector's and better human being's what a wonderful concept. Think about it. There is no gold ring at the end. That's not the purpose. Thanks for all your help. I'll keep writing if you will. Mike

I like your heart, Mike....and your words are good too. :) Like World_Coin_Nut, I write for myself as much as for others to read. It is always nice to share one's heart and passion with others who may share similar beliefs and ideas. To think that one might possibly impacting the world around them in a positive way. I someday might consider a more informative blog posting series rather than the somewhat esoteric "stories" I have offered thus far. Maybe a blog on my own observations about the the edges of ancient coins. Keep blogging, people are reading, not everybody comments.

Pliny thank you for your kind word's. Please do not stop your esoteric type of writing. No matter how you write it's the meaning! So don't worry as a matter of fact I like it.mike

Thanks 7180 again that's what make's this system work. It's unfortunate but a few bad apples can ruin it for a lot of people. They think level five makes them an expert. Not when you follow four thousand people due the math thanks mike

Well stated. The more of us who use the tools for learning the better informed we are as a hobby!

Thanks guy! You are one on the rare one's not a point monger who writes about everything but coin's. What's that?Purpose could only be one reason. And one word answers. I don't get it I complained about it. Why do some waste my time. Well I don't answer there blog's thanks mike.

Well said Mike. I write as much for others as I do for myself. As long as I know others are getting some enjoyment out of my blogs I will keep writing them.
