Fast forwarding to the November of 2013, I had been staying in the US for 5 months and my involvement had further heightened as there were lots of coins shows around Southwest Texas (thats where I live). I had also been looking around the internet and had started to learn about the different types of US coins that existed. And then I set my eyes upon the Morgan Dollar. It was love at first sight. The sharp details, the mirror like field and the beautiful inscriptions all added up to one of the most perfect coins I had ever seen. But after looking at the price tag, I was horrified. There was NO way I could have afforded that. Nevertheless I made up my mind to save up for it and get one of those in a low grade. You may feel that $70-$100 is a pretty cheap price but to me, it was costly as had so many other things on my want list. Many months went on but I just could not shell out $30-$40. But when I went to India(again) to visit my relatives, I finally saved up enough money. When I came home and gazed at it I was filled with a joy like none other that I had felt before. I stared at its exquisite make for almost five minutes until my mom came to my room and reminded me to complete the homework. And this, my fellow numismatists, is how I got the two of my best coins.
