Voting should be in full swing shortly, my european friend informed me that he got his electonic ballot today, (5/23). I hope all the ANA membership looks at the list of candidates and their stances on issues and makes an informed decision on the issues and VOTES! the responses in the past have been dismal. I would like to see a larger turnout for voting whether the vote is for me or not i would just like members to vote!!! you will notice that there is a full slate of candidates no office is unopposed so votes are important! Thanks you - Rick

He didn't have time he has to follow everyone. No one on this site is better than the next collector. We're all the same as collect coins. You collect people.

Do you think you can follow any more. You like points and we know what your doing. You don't participate just follow. That is not what this site is for its for learning. Tell me who is 1237. I bet you know his name. Lost my vote

I have been having second thoughts about the plans I have for being on the ANA Board of Governors. I would like to see if the Summer Seminars can add at least a min-seminar on what it wtakes to make a coin club a vibrant and useful member of the numismatic community.

I know the ANA will publish our platforms but for resumés i am not sure, you can see what of mine is pertinent to the ANA above this post. What I do like is that there is a few ladies in the race at the Summer Seminars you only see presenters all male. if they are elected there will be a new perspective I am sure of that.

Can you promise you can go straighten out this site? It's been out of control now to long. I found out were most ANA people.leave and go to. The NGC Registry. I didn't know.it till I joined. There is no following 6300 members no plagiarism they catch you they take it down.

In my discussions over the years with fellow members of the ANA at Conventions and the Summer Seminars over the past ten years more than one current or former ANA Board member has said to me that you are a strong opinioned person and would serve the ANA well. “So why don’t you run for governor?” After discussion with more members of the ANA and more importantly my spouse I have decided to nominate myself for a position. Granted I have also received more than a few of why would you open up to the headaches and time that it takes. I still want to serve. I have been active and done many things within the area of the numismatic community. I joined the Greater Houston Coin Club in 2008 because the club offered a chance to learn more about numismatics and within a year I was asked to join the Board of Directors. After I started to serve I used a computer to record the meetings was met with resistance because the actions might get out to the club. As I persisted I was elected as secretary and now the regular item of the agenda is the review of the minutes of the meetings. Now I am in my sixth year as secretary. I later was awarded a one-week scholarship to the ANA Summer Seminars and now I attend both weeks of the summer seminars for 8 years, teaching a mini-seminar in 2014 and now tentatively scheduled to teach a mini-seminar this coming 2019 session. I would like to see changes in the way things are done but cannot make these changes without being on the board to do so. I am not advocating massive changes just tweaks so to speak. I would like to change some of the ANA Numismatic Diploma Program process and some image changes at the Summer Seminar. I will endeavor to serve and improve the ANA for all of us.
