1962 Iran 5 Rials Coin
Issued during Mohammad Reza Pahlavi's administration, this magnificent coin brings us a shining lion holding a sword doing the job of a Coat of Arms on its obverse. The coin is minted in Arabic presenting its denomination, year of issue on its reverse and the Republic's name.
The name of the currency of Iran is the Rial which is subdivided in dinars, for example 1 Rial = 100 Dinars.
The current rate of exchange is 1 USD = 42,400.00 Rials. There is no specific sign for the Iranian currency, but the World monetary code is IRR.
In my own words.
