1979 Afghanistan 10 Afghanis Banknote
The currency of Afghanistan is the Afghani. It has been quite an interest for collectors in Eastern Europe, Turkey and, the Americas.
Mostly decorated with islamic motifs, lettering and linear designs, some brought exquisite caligraphy noted by enthusiasts.Another Afghan financial ministry trend has been the inclusion of some of the mountain range of this beautiful country, in many bill denominations as well as specific architecture significant to the population's beliefs and history.
This 10 Afghanis note is a well kept example of the features described above. Enjoy it as part of my international currecy collections.
In my own words.

Curious if you have put this note under a black light, as some foreign notes have some very interesting security features that show up under black light.

Quite right!!! There is a watermark that should be visible under specific elements. By the way, I recalled you mentioned a month or so ago, that you were about to publish something within ANA's newsletter...did you? Would certainly like to read it. Thanks!
