1987 Mexico 500 Pesos Coin
The design of this large type coin brings the National Coat of Arms of Mexico on its obverse, with its legendary eagle killing a serpent. The coin's reverse shows the image of President Francisco Madero. A short-lived presidency, Madero successfully took over Porfirio DÃaz government to try to enhance the Nation's democratic stability. His term lasted from November 1911 to February 1913.
The coin is impressive for its design of yet modern and conservative style. It is minted with the known symbol of $ besides the denomination of 500 "pesos" and the usage of this familiar symbol should not be confused with the US Dollar notation mark.
In my own words.
