2013-S US "Shield" Cent
AC's Secrets #13
With little over one and a quarter million struck this exclusive San Francisco US Cent was processed in "copper plated zinc", having then a smaller amount of copper in its alloy and a beautiful shine finish for both its obverse and reverse. Known mostly as a Lincoln cent, this design brought the large shield on its reverse.
Around this year (2013) this cent coin was also known as "shield" penny by many enthusiasts, is shown here in Proof condition. It was graded as PR69RD by PGCS.
The limited quantity was intended to reach collectors and other numismatists experts.

This was a major change in our coinage. Can you tell me what the reverse stands for?. I know there were a few they were looking at but don't no why they chose this. By the way blocking the cert doesn't tell who owns the coin!
