2019-D Georgia $1 Coin, details

American Innovation Program US Mint, Launched: 19 Dec 2019 Around the design are inscriptions of "GEORGIA," "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA" and the artists’ initials. Emily Damstra created the artwork. Michael Gaudioso completed its sculpting. All $1 coins from the American Innovation series have an obverse depiction of the Statue of Liberty along with inscriptions of "$1," "IN GOD WE TRUST," and the artists’ initials. Justin Kunz created the image and Phebe Hemphill sculpted it. ***2019-dated dollar obverses also have a small privy mark of a stylized gear unlike the introductory design for 2018. Dollar coin edges brought the year of issue, a mint mark and "E PLURIBUS UNUM."

1866 US Two Cents Coin, details

Engraver/Designer: James B. Longacre *Obverse: An ornate shield flanked on the left and right by leaves with arrow heads and shanks (crossed behind) appear protruding at the four corners. A ribbon above the shield bears the words IN GOD WE TRUST, making this coin design the first usage of this motto. The date is positioned at the bottom center. *Reverse: A large numeral 2 with the word CENTS below (smaller) in the center is framed by a well-defined wheat wreath tied at the bottom center by a simple ribbon. UNITED STATES OF AMERICA appears around the border.
