This type of currency was in use until 1972. ***This note has cut or alignment errors in the reverse. A 1966 note was shown in a separate blog at an earlier date.
5 Mexican Pesos Coin Circulated from 1980 to 1985 and was officially retired in 1995. The Mexican Peso was originally launched as national currency in 1868 and ran until 1992.
