Amazing finds in bank rolls and change.

Coins | Eli1892

I am eight years old and have been collecting for about 6 months. I found a 2000 S proof dime, 1939 silver quarter, and a 1983 20 pence in bank rolls! My brother Gage ( who is "collector 108") found a 2013 D William McKinley dollar in one! I also found a 1964 P silver Roosevelt dime in spare change! This is my first blog post! You should start looking for cool coins in rolls and tell me what you find.

Very nice post. Keep up the searching and you will be surprised at what you find in circulation. I also started collecting at about 7-years old and still have those found coins in my collections from many, many years ago.

Great finds. I don't think I ever found an S mint coin in change. Good for you.

bank rolls are a gamble, sometimes you find good things sometimes you find bad coins

Very True...it's exiting and you get your money back either way. :)

Very cool! I don't do many bankrolls but I'm always looking at my change. Just two weeks ago I found a Proof Montana State Quarter in my change. Keep on the hunt! Gary

Wow! I wonder how proofs end up in circulation. Mine go right into a holder. Maybe people are just low on money.

Cool and thank you. My brother just found a 1943P Silver Nickel yesterday!

Awesome! You should never underestimate the power of bank rolls! I'm 12, and I found an Indian 1 Rupee, several Canadian coins, and Wheat pennies in rolls, and my dad found a 1952 silver quarter in some donations (I traded another quarter for that one). Keep looking, you guys!
