Anyone Got the v75?

hey guys!
anyone got the v75 coin? It was absolutely crazy trying to get it!
I was glitched out and struggling to get it for about 1 hour before I finally picked up one of the last ones!Anyone got the gold one? if you got that....CONGRATS!!!
Anyways, wondering what you guys got it, or if you tried at all.

My grandfather was able to get an SAE - he complained a lot about the ordering problems.

yeah, mine came 2 weeks late, package was a wet and ripped open and the capsule came open as well! the coin has a scratch right down the side!

Me and my father tried. I tried for silver, and he tried to get the gold. We got the silver. Albeit no gold. When we tried for the metal, my dad got "banned" from the website.

I was lucky enough to get one. Mine is in the shipping process right now and according to the tracking its supposed to be here on Monday. I'll post pictures when I get it. I didn't even try for the gold one. It was sold out by 12:07.

I tried, but kept falling off the deep end... "refresh page" and "log in problems"... Not real happy with the way our Mint does business.

I've seen the gold ones already sell for 15k, what a profit people are going to make. I wasn't able to secure one, but I'm not that sad about it.

Regrettably, no I did not. The use of the CAPCHA, which kept repeating even though I was logged on under my user account, the numerous pages once it finally accepted and the final "place order" page only to yet again get an error leaves me to wonder if they know anything about computer systems at the United States Mint. It's not as though this has not happened numerous times in recent years, and one would think they could solve the problem. Or do they even care? So yes, I am angry. However, upon reflection, not so much on the mint as those dealers and EBAY sellers looking to make a fortune. So, I looked at the listings and wrote down every name associated and will not be buying anything from them. Period. If no one buys them at the ridiculous amounts asked, then this will at the least taper off. On the plus side, I'm not a collector of ASE's as a coin. I only hoped for one due to it being the first and only of the design with a privy mark which had been considered for a typeset. The upcoming Mayflower sets have me wondering if these same incompetent information technology (IT) people will resolve the issue. Probably not.

It's games at the mint. I got all the way down to check out ready to hit it and they kicked me off. Low mintage will do this all the time. You want one wants till next year the price will drop.

Yes, I was one of the Lucky few, not many of us. I think from all the comments I've seen just three people who contribute to this blog actually got one. And yes, I kept getting kicked off. I talked to a couple of regulars and decided to send it in to NGC and get the "Early or First Release" label. The coin that goes on sale on the 9th is a Silver Medal Commemorating the 75th Anniversary of the End of World War II. The one I was lucky to get was a silver American Eagle 75th Anniversary of the End of World War II.
